The Soul Has A Way

Bre sits as a northerly breeze brushes her skin. Night gazing brings beautiful memories of that first encounter and the ones that follow. Seeing Jesus in visions and dreams is life-changing for a woman who never saw her life developing this way. Encounters with the Savior can move the soul so deeply that tears—and the lingering effects—remain.
Reflecting on her experiences, she messages one of her advisors and sounding board: “Bishop, if you could meet one person from the Bible, who would it be?” she asks. “Moses,” he returns.
My person is Joseph, she thinks, the time we would have. She imagines time well spent with the son of Jacob over coffee, discussing the power of God—a sovereign God who, at His pleasure, can drop prophetic dreams and visions just because He is The Great I Am. Taking in the goodness of God, Bre knows all too well that the soul has a way of traveling where words can never land.
